ABOUT
After a short hiatus - Purple Rhapsody is back!
'Purple Rhapsody' is THE signature outdoor concert event in Gwinnett County, and it's taking place Saturday, September 16, 2023, 4:00 pm at the Bowl @ Sugar Hill. The event was born in 2014 as 'Jazz On The Green' and sought to bring the entertainment experience of both local and well-known artists to communities outside the perimeter. Postponed the last couple of years due to the pandemic, the event highlighted smooth tunes and mostly jazz musicians, combined with food, wine and the ambiance of music played under the stars.
In this eighth edition, we've rebranded the event - Purple Rhapsody. As interest has grown over the years, we've expanded the artist lineup to include multiple music genres, added more vendors and cultural exhibitors, and moved to one of the top outdoor venues in the Southeast - the Bowl @ Sugar Hill.

Lastly, 'Purple Rhapsody' is about more than experiencing great music with great friends. Presented by See It Through Foundation of Gwinnett, 'Purple Rhapsody' is a key vehicle in funding the chapter's annual scholarship fund and endowment and its numerous philanthropic causes. 'Purple Rhapsody' is truly a musical and cultural experience for a great cause.

ARTISTS
CLICK & GET TO KNOW OUR LINEUP
Purple Rhapsody 2023 boasts a powerful lineup of local and well-known artists. This year's offering has range and we stretch the limits of several genres - classic R&B, neo soul, jazz, old school funk - we've got you covered, music enthusiasts.
Says ALLMUSIC, Patterson is a traditional yet progressive R&B artist with a singular tenor voice and an unbroken streak of adventurous albums. By no means is this slight, rather homage to a battle-tested and uber-talented crooner with a string of hits from the 90s up to now. He's multi-faceted - from gospel to R&B, actor, writer, and other activities behind the scenes...
More than just a local aritst, Phillippia is a powerful voice wrapped in a once-in-a-generation persona oozing of urban soul, mixed in with funk and a hint of jazz and neo. In a word, admirers simply call her performances hypnotic...
