ABOUT
After a short hiatus - Purple Rhapsody is back!
'Purple Rhapsody' is THE signature outdoor concert event in Gwinnett County, and it's taking place Saturday, September 17, 2022, 4:00 pm at the Bowl @ Sugar Hill. The event was born in 2014 as 'Jazz On The Green' and sought to bring the entertainment experience of both local and well-known artists to communities outside the perimeter. Postponed the last couple of years due to the pandemic, the event highlighted smooth tunes and mostly jazz musicians, combined with food, wine and the ambiance of music played under the stars.
In this seventh edition, we've rebranded the event - Purple Rhapsody. As interest has grown over the years, we've expanded the artist lineup to include multiple music genres, added more vendors and cultural exhibitors, and moved to one of the top outdoor venues in the Southeast - the Bowl @ Sugar Hill.
Lastly, 'Purple Rhapsody' is about more than experiencing great music with great friends. Presented by See It Through Foundation of Gwinnett, 'Purple Rhapsody' is a key vehicle in funding the chapter's annual scholarship fund and endowment and its numerous philanthropic causes. 'Purple Rhapsody' is truly a musical and cultural experience for a great cause.

See It Through Foundation (SITF), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, was founded in 2014 in Gwinnett, and was created to amplify the efforts of the local chapter and to formalize a programmatic approach to philanthropy and education expansion. SITF's vision and mission is to educate, expand and empower minds to strengthen lives and community, and to unite youth, adults and seniors to promote strong families and build successful communities.
Partnering together, the two organizations commit thousands of hours annually to community service and cause-based initiatives and have awarded over $150,000 in scholarships and philanthropic endeavors.
